Integricare developed TRI-ACTA to be a proactive solution for maintaining your pet’s joint health. Our joint supplement does this by combining two key ingredients, glucosamine and chondroitin, which activate alongside MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), a naturally-occurring anti-inflammatory, to promote the generation of new cartilage, muscle, and ligaments in the joint. This synthesis of new cartilage treats the cartilage matrix at the cellular level and allows the body to heal itself.
TRI-ACTA is used in the treatment of age-related soreness, degenerative joint disease, arthritis, and ailments associated with hip dysplasia, injury, or surgery. It is also recommended as a preventative approach to maintain optimal joint health.
TRI-ACTA has been designed to:
- Promote healthy cartilage
- Maintain collagen and connective tissue
- Protect joint tissues
- Decrease stiffness
- Improve mobility
TRI-ACTA is optimal for:
- Preventing joint issues in developing and growing dogs
- A complete and balanced diet
- Dogs with mild to moderate mobility conditions
- Early signs of immobility

Frequently Asked Questions about TRI-ACTA
Why is TRI-ACTA Effective for Dogs and Cats?
The reality is that once you recognize signs of pain or decreased mobility in your dog or cat, they are already experiencing joint degeneration.
Proactively incorporating joint supplements into your pet’s diet can decrease the likelihood of hip and joint complications in a pet’s later years. Using TRI-ACTA Regular Strength on a daily basis at a young age will prevent or significantly reduce the effects and severity of joint deterioration, osteoarthritis, and dysplasia as your pet ages.
Can TRI-ACTA Cause Side Effects in My Dog or Cat?
TRI-ACTA products contain 100% naturally-occurring components that exist in the joint matrix of mammals, meaning that TRI-ACTA is completely safe and will not cause side effects in your pet.
Is TRI-ACTA for Pets an approved Veterinary Product?
Yes, TRI-ACTA is a Health Canada designated Veterinary Health Product (VHP). This means the contents are regulated and verified by Health Canada. We also follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. Certificates of analysis have consistently validated our requirements for quality. We are very proud of the fact that we use only the highest quality ingredients with no fillers. Our labels make it easy to verify the contents in each container of an Integricare product.
Which Formula do I Choose: TRI-ACTA or TRI-ACTA H.A.?
TRI-ACTA can be used for recovery and therapeutic purposes, although it is more commonly used as a preventative approach for optimal joint health and for younger animals that have not already shown signs of decreased mobility or are just starting to.
We recommend the TRI-ACTA H.A. formula for mature animals and/or animals with osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, recovering from surgery, or experiencing significant pain or immobility. TRI-ACTA H.A. can also be used as a preventative supplement for very active dogs and sporting dogs under a heavier workload.
