MSM is short for Methylsulfonylmethane. MSM occurs naturally in small amounts in the body and in most foods. MSM is a healthy and safe dietary supplement that provides sulfur, which is required to utilize vitamins and amino acids needed for healthy cartilage, ligaments, tendons, heart valves and all connective tissue. Increasing sulfur in the affected joints relieves the symptoms of degenerative joint disease and arthritis helping animals move more freely and easily while helping the body form a strong collagen matrix. MSM reduces pain and inflammation and also works as an antioxidant.
